Joining the Ladie's Auxiliary:
We are located in South-Western Michigan.
We are always looking for women and young ladies to join the 17th South Carolina Ladies Auxiliary. We accompany
the
17th South Carolina Infantry to Civil War reenactments.
We dress in period attire, mingle with other women, shop at the sutleries, attend tea parties, fashion
shows, tend to the children, cook for the unit on a campfire, quilt, sew, exchange dress patterns, and just plain have fun
portraying women of the Civil War era!
